Product Owner
KBR's Defense Systems Engineering, Naval Solutions Division is seeking an experienced Product Owner with a SCRUM Master Certification to support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) efforts related to Aviation Product Lifecycle Management (AvPLM). Qualified candidates must be customer-focused and capable of supporting initiatives within a dynamic environment. They must also have experience managing software development/customization teams. Candidates should be highly familiar with working within an Agile environment and will be responsible for team progress, interpreting and implementing customer requirements, managing software development, software customization, integration, and migration to the Government Cloud Environment (GCE). The successful candidate will provide direct support and leadership to a development/implementation team responsible for the customization and deployment of solutions. The successful candidate should possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across critical tasks and high-impact assignments, plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluate performance results, recommend changes affecting short-term project growth and success, and function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in daily programmatic meetings to discuss status, customer needs, and team progress
Provide leadership and direction to a team of software development/implementation professionals to align requirements with work scope and ensure delivery schedules are achieved
Participate in future requirements development
Provide technical direction related to software design and testing
Work with teams involving engineering project leads, product marketing, CAD designers, and other stakeholders to ensure strong communication and overall product team integration
Understand how to analyze software releases to evaluate the impact this can have on product improvement and value stream mapping workflows
Engage with team members and become familiar with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Bill of Material (BOM) Management, Mechanical/Electrical CAD, Additive Manufacturing
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A bachelor's degree in an IT field from an accredited US institution
Experience: 4 years of relevant experience. Experience must include managing software development/customization teams.
Citizenship & Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required. Active Secret clearance or clearance eligibility, Single Scope Background Investigation.
Certifications: Certified SCRUM Master, Security+ CE, and Operating System (OS) Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM platform
This position offers a flexible remote working environment.
Compensation: $120,000-150,370. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
