The Imaging Systems Division of L3Harris Technologies Space and Airborne Systems Segment has an opening for a Manager Program Finance to lead our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Melbourne, FL. This individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting. As Lead, this individual is responsible for the financial operations of the portfolio, to include supporting and driving action to achieve financial commitments and mitigate risks, guiding and escalating (as appropriate) business decisions from program bid through execution, and providing sound financial judgment to inform investment decisions. This position will be responsible for leading a team of PFA's in the execution of program finance processes and deliverables; inclusive of cost plus and fixed price: EVMS, CDRL's, OSPI management/reporting, and continual process improvement objectives.
Essential Functions:
Manages a team of PFA's, including experienced professionals and new grads.
Analyze and re-balance PFA workloads as necessary
Mentor and train PFAs, helping to position the team for professional growth
Communicates and trains within and outside of the finance organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts.
Manages the implementation of functional strategies and recommends operational plans that directly impact the short- to mid-term function or business area results.
Candidate and team will be responsible for the execution of program finance processes and deliverables on NEOS and CCI business area programs; inclusive of cost plus and fixed price: EVMS, CDRL's, OSPI management/reporting, and continual process improvement objectives.
Qualifications:
Experience with establishing standard processes/tools in a Gov't contracting environment
Strong EVMS skillset
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leadership teams
Demonstrated ability to influence peers and train early career PFA's
Experience with forecasting Orders/Sales/Profit/CashFlow
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
