Overview

Audacy is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Corporate team in Philadelphia. This individual will interact with stakeholders and systems across the organization while leading efforts to assess, analyze and document both existing and new business processes. While this position is not explicitly technical, the individual will partner with the larger technology group to ensure applications meet business requirements while continuous improvements are identified and implemented.

The ideal candidate has a technical aptitude and the ability to turn user requirements into deliverables and action items. They should also possess an understanding of core business operations and have strong PowerPoint and / or Visio skills.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and gather business requirements

  • Work closely with project management team on system projects (upgrades & implementations)

  • Perform risk assessment and develop contingency plans with possible alternatives and recommendations for delays

  • Coordinate meetings with multiple levels of leadership and / or stakeholders to initiate working sessions, resolve project issues, etc., as needed

  • Effectively prepare/present meeting agendas, visual workflows and more to communicate project milestones to key stakeholders

  • Lead system requirements gathering sessions to identify critical business requirements for systems

  • Ensures accuracy of data through partnerships with team members and other departments

  • Meet with third party vendors on integration processes and develop audit monitoring processes

  • Create data flow diagrams and process flow diagrams to facilitate better system understanding

  • Conduct user acceptance testing to verify performance, reliability and identify any issues

  • Develop and implement documentation, plans, training materials and presentations

  • Evaluate systems and processes to identify/implement continuous improvement initiatives

  • Train users on new or enhanced core office and business-specific applications as needed

  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, communicating progress and recommending actions and identify areas for improvement

  • Develop KPIs, measure and monitor success metrics; Monitor change progress.

  • Team regularly with Technology specialists to measure effectiveness of technology solutions and services and identify corporate initiatives that may impact the business

Qualifications

More About You:

Required/Preferred:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience; i.e. experience with data analysis, business analytics, application of statistical methodologies

  • Project Management Experience a plus

  • Strong skills in the following analytics tools: Excel, SQL, Tableau and/or Domo or other Business Intelligence tools, PowerPoint, and/or Visio

  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to all levels of the organization effectively

  • Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptable.

  • Team oriented and collaborative

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Strong work ethic, enthusiastic attitude, and regular, consistent attendance

  • Ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous projects and initiative

  • Education: B.S. in Finance and Accounting, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent
