Job Title: Principal Architect Executive
Location: Within 50 miles of IN, VA, IL, or GA

This role with lead the organization in providing strategic architecture initiatives in areas such as, Claims Eco-System, Data architecture, Integration architecture, Platform roadmaps, Services roadmap, Cloud roadmap, and Technology selection.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Partners with company leadership to design processes that will shape and build the foundation.
Recommends new solutions that build the processes on how services are delivered to members, providers and key stakeholder view on all aspects of data and process flows; this could be automated or manual.
Leads initiatives and owns governance to establish new processes and changes to existing processes.
Focuses on the following:
Building Reference Architecture and reusable Patterns
Development of Technology and Governance Process
Reduce Technical Complexity
Establishes overall business architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision.
Provides continuous consulting services and direction on projects, and provides in-depth technical consultation to IT executives and senior management to ensure system architecture aligns with the department's strategic direction.
Champions and responsible for business architectural standards, guidelines, principles, frameworks, and reference models.
Works on all aspects of the business model to convey needs to IT and key business stakeholders.
Works with IT to lead IT Business Transformation architecture strategy and vision.
Understanding of data, data requirements, data constraints, business process and workflows, automation, and service delivery and benefit structure to align end to end processes. Help deliver and drive migration based upon roadmaps defined by enterprise data roadmaps.
Works with IT to define architectures for new strategic initiatives.
Lead and mentor solution architects, engineers, managers and business teams and individuals
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture/design, business processes, strategic design or relevant disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Desired Experience:
Cross-functional experience (e.g., strategy, change management, business process management) experience strongly preferred.
12 plus years of experience in Information Technology Experience in health insurance domain specifically in the areas of Claims, Members, Providers and Medical Management
Experience in leading Architecture teams along with experience and ability to influence at all levels
Strong experience in using Integration patterns and Data design
Understanding of architecture governance and solution design management processes
Experience working with business process and workflows automation to align end to end processes.
Knowledge of application design patterns
Strong collaboration and coaching skills
Experience of working in an Agile development environment Broad technical knowledge, and ability to quickly assimilate new skills
Strong communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to translate technical expressions into easy to understand and clear language
Experience with one of the major Architecture Framework such as Zachman or TOGAF
Experience with IaaS, PaaS and Cloud Services such as AWS, Azure
Understanding and experience with container based architectures
Understanding and experience with Microservices based architecture
