Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a well experienced CEI Area Manager/Senior Project Engineer to support our local projects within the Orlando, FL region.
Provides engineering technical and management leadership for an operating unit(s)
Developing and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices, and procedures
Reviewing programs for conformance with Department standards
Managing the construction engineering functions on a project to ensure adherence to all engineering construction plans and specifications
Works as an integral part of the site construction team at the project as delineated by the applicable company project execution plans and procedures
Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative
Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with senior- level engineers within the company and with key engineering officials of other organizations and companies, and is skilled in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues
Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual engineering problems, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities
Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits
Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
Directing a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program
Planning and organizing the work of subordinate and staff members
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree plus 12 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
Due to the nature of the projects US Citizenship is required
Professional Engineer (PE)
Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
Preferred Qualifications:
15 years of engineering CEI experience
FDOT Advanced MOT
Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida
CTQP Quality Control Manager

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $160,000.00 - $260,000.00.
