Summary You will serve as a Logistic Management Specialist in the Support Division, SUPSHIP Gulfcoast Detachment of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will perform logistic management tasks involved in the development and implementation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) policy and procedures for assigned systems. You will provide logistical support elements such as maintenance planning, supply support, computer resources support, training and training devices, manpower, support and test equipment and packaging, handling, storage, and transportation. You will assist senior Logistics Management Specialists in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, budget formulation, COTR performance duties, Statement of Work (SOW), development for contracts, and ILS Management Team meetings. You will resolve logistics problems by gathering facts, defining and exploring problems, and developing alternate solutions to issues addressed in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Logistics Management Specialist experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing logistic management tasks involved in the development and implementation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) policy and procedures for assigned systems. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Provide knowledge of regulation regarding the contracting of material and services; 2) Utilize knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Department of Defense contract rules and regulations sufficient to assist higher level Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) personnel in performing their contract administration responsibilities; 3) Apply Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Management principles, concepts, and methodology to a variety of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) projects; and 4) Provide practical knowledge of engineering sufficient to distinguish between logistics and engineering problems to a resolution.
