THE ROLE : The Ozone Business Development Manager will be responsible for Growing Xylem's Ozone Business in the North American Region (NAR). In this role, the incumbent will also support the Water Reuse market development as it pertains to Xylem's product portfolios. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Be the subject matter expert in ozone applications to grow the Xylem brand in North America

  • Provide Technical Support and Guidance to the Sales Team as well our external Channel Partners

  • Monitor and analyze the market trends in the Ozone market (including water reuse) and provide guidance to the team

  • Network with the engineering and regulatory communities to help build the Xylem Ozone Brand in the NAR

  • Self-motivated, self-starter with intrinsic drive to work independently, with balanced guidance from the leadership team

  • Work with marketing, and 3rd party channel to influence marketplace through whitepapers/case stories & presentations at regional/national conferences

  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on the organization's needs

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or sciences

  • Master's degree in business administration or technical field preferred

  • 5 years of experience working in the water and wastewater treatment market

  • 5 years of experience working in the water reuse market segment

  • Knowledge of water and/or wastewater treatment process and applications; specifically in ozone oxidation and advanced oxidation processes.

  • Experience working with Sales Force Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent task management & organization skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Exceptional skills at collaborating with and influencing stakeholders

DAY IN THE LIFE :

In this role, the working environment is a typical office environment and the physical demands may include but not limited to regularly sitting, standing, lifting up to 25 lbs. From time to time you may visit a client's site where you will be required to wear the required PPE (hardhat, safety glasses etc.) In addition, this role may require travel within the North American Region (up to 40%), with occasional European travel.
