Overview
TheDirector, Search Engine Marketing, reporting to the VP, Digital Revenue Operations, will be responsible for leading product and operations in Audacy's centralized revenue operations paid search team. This individual will be expected to be a product expert, ensuring team development and oversight all while providing best in class customer service to Audacy's markets across the country.
As needed, this individual is expected to support the scheduling, implementing and monitor of Google Ads, Bing, YouTube and our SEO campaigns. This individual will direct the team and work in partnership with the VP, Digital Revenue Operations to future engineer the team to best support client and business needs.
This role is open to remote work in any of Audacy's 48 markets.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Provide best in class customer service through timely responses, monitoring team communication and acting as a post of escalation when issues arise
Conduct troubleshooting, coordinating with departments internally and vendor representatives to identify, report and resolve technical issues as needed
Be the technical product expert and/or identify and rely on technical product resource as needed
Develop and refine standard operating procedures that balance client expectations and business needs - including but not limited to SLAs, communication scripting, standards for campaign execution
Support, develop and provide feedback to direct reports
Qualifications
Required & Preferred:
BS/BA degree or relevant experience
6+ years of digital media experience required in advertising operations or advertising support role
1+ years of people or team management experience
Hands-on experience running paid search campaigns
Experience managing third party vendor relationships
Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong communication, relationship management, customer service skills, attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft office suite and Google Workspace
Experience with Wide Orbit, TapClicks or other digital order entry and workflow platforms is a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
Ability to define strategy for product support and operational best practices for products and services supported by the Search team
Google Ads certification required

Pay Transparency:
The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $99,999-$115,000/Annually.
Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
