Summary You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Logistic Support Team Branch of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will provide a variety of daily routine supply management duties involving all aspects of stock management of various Class of Supply, ensuring supply operations are sustained to support material requirements onboard Littoral Combat Ships. You will utilize various databases and systems including Relational Supply, One Touch Supply, FEDLOG, FACET and others to review and validate outstanding requisitions to include but not limited to inventory allowance fills. You will coordinate financial reconciliation weekly and be capable of completing financial reports such as the Budget OPTAR Report (BOR) and Transaction Item Reporting (TIR). You will assist the Logistics Support Team Officer Supply Officer, and delegate agents by performing duties related to the overall logistics requirement. You will manage fuel inventory through Fleet Logistics Centers (FLC), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC). You will perform as the customer and management liaison for most classes of supply, track performance measurements and summarize data into reports, graphs and spreadsheets using personal computer skills. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing General Supply Specialist work applying a practical knowledge of a wide range of well-established and commonly applied supply management principles, concepts, and methodologies in order to analyze and resolve supply inventory, data management, and day to day operational procedures related to stock management of Class IX repair parts, shipboard supply operations, financial management and automated supply management systems in support of naval ships. I have experience utilizing supply management systems and automated data processing techniques in order to research and conduct data collections for quality and performance studies or surveys related to repair parts ordering and expediting and/or support planning for ship operations and deployment. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Ordering and resolving discrepancies for repair parts in Relational Supply (R-Supply) Program; 2) Performing a wide range of stock management functions such as acquisitioning, inventorying, restocking, researching, shipping, receipting and receiving orders and completing material outstanding files and reports. 3) Planning and scheduling Class IX repair parts to adequately support ship operational requirements; 4) Resolving discrepancies in customer orders and providing recommendations for substitutions and alternative acquisition sources; 5) Utilizing automated computer systems and applications such as: R-Supply, One Touch, and FEDLOG to process customer orders and to resolve and perform record management duties related to supply management and distance support for deployed/homeported LCS ships; 6) Prepare and submit financial reports such as a monthly Budget Operating Target (OPTAR) Report (BOR) and weekly Transaction Ledger (TL) to ensure financial reconciliation and inventory accountability.
