Associate to hire role for a Machine Operator in Kansas City, MO.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Start and safely maintain digital print equipment and with the help of virtual, over the phone, and in-person support technicians- Understand the companys mailing paperwork and have a good understanding of USPS regulations- Possess entry-level to average knowledge of navigating and verifying a print file on a RIP server and submitting RIP files to a digital press- Safely locate, transport, and load paper and other digital print consumables and replacement parts- Posses an entry-level to average knowledge of reviewing press sheets for printing flaws, content, calibration, register, and backup- Troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment settings- Assist in daily machine startup and shutdown maintenance, and strive to perform periodic maintenanceRequirements:- High school diploma or GED- Machine operator experience- Stand, walk, bend, twist, grip, reach, push, and pull with both hands- Regularly lift up to 20lbs, frequently lift up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift up to 75lbs- Strong attention to detail- Read and write English- Stand for 8+ hours per day- Perform fast-paced, repetitive work, while staying focused on quality- Adhere to attendance policies and procedures- Able to use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals- Able to read, comprehend, and prepare production worksheets
