Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Plant Vogtle I&C Technicians will be responsible for:
Performing routine maintenance on plant measurement, control and monitoring equipment (including Ovation OC 400)
Performing surveillance and calibration
Maintaining environmental monitoring equipment and systems to ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines
This position requires emergency response organization participation
Education Requirements:
2 Year Associate Degree in Electronics, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation or equivalent military training
Curriculum should include: AC/DC Theory, Solid State Circuits
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of PC's and basic computer skills
Job knowledge in troubleshooting and calibration
Instrumentation knowledge in a plant environment preferred
Interpret logic diagrams, electronic and electric schematics
Research, interpret and follow procedures
Use electronic test equipment such as meters, etc.
Knowledge related to networking protocols, operations, troubleshooting, and administration preferred
Other Requirements
Must qualify on the EEI Technician Occupations Selection System [TECH] test.
The successful candidate must meet background screening and fitness for duty requirements.
The successful candidate must meet the physical requirements of the position.
