Responsibilities
The Talent Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating enterprise-wide training within our learning management system based upon company, state, federal, program, business needs, and other requirements. Provides first level support for communities related to system functionality and use. Partners with the regional and local leadership to drive training and regulatory compliance. Ensures that associates are trained as directed by Brookdale's policies and procedures. Partner with talent and learning program managers on projects in the learning management system (LMS).
Coordinates new associate enrollment within Brookdale's LMS for required training using company approved materials within the timeframes of both Brookdale policies and state regulations.
Partners with internal departments to create and maintain videos, e-learning modules, and other training resources.\
Trains community associates on the company orientation program and LMS functionality, such as how to run/save/share reports, using the Users List to look at associate information, and how to assign courses to associates, on demand.
Tracks the training progress of assigned communities by reviewing the training data and sharing their progress with the district Leaders for Risk analysis.
Research and provide customer service to community team members on system issues and functionality. Focused on timely resolution of issues, via ticketing platform.
Provide prompt LMS related support to community leaders in preparation for and during active State surveys.
Supports company instructors with how to create, manage and update Live Events within LMS
Collaborates with team members and vendors to conduct data review and testing within LMS.
Partners with department leaders to support the LMS auditing process of training plans, courses and live event sessions to determine need for updates or retiring of courses.
Updates New Hire Orientation, Annual In-Service and support documentation, as well as any other talent program, as it relates to vendor course changes, additions/deletions to current training plans and calendar, as well as support documentation updates related to program changes or system interface updates.
Assists with bi-annual Subject Matter Expert (SME) reviews by sending 1st and 2nd requests, updating state folders, reviewing SME spreadsheet, and updating State Regulatory booklets, within our department shared drive.
Collaborates with talent peers to set up and manage the logistics for courses delivered by the Talent Management team.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
An Associate's degree (AA) is required, with a Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S) from a four-year college or university preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in learning management system or training required
Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
Additional years of relevant experience can be substituted for the education requirement on a year for year basis.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special RequirementsNone.

Demonstrates leadership ability to be responsible for the overall directions, coordination and evaluation of training outcomes. Knows when to refer issues to supervisor and when to handle them personally.
Knowledge and SkillsHas an advanced knowledge of the organization, industry and functional discipline. Extensive understanding of technical areas gained through experience and used to complete and/or oversee assignments. Familiarity with Microsoft software preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks is essential. Success in driving results. Successfully demonstrates good judgement, strong problem solving skills and decision making skills.
