WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient storage and distribution of materials, work in process, and finished goods while ensuring that sales orders are fulfilled in a safe, timely, and accurate fashion. The Warehouse Manager analyzes existing processes and proposes improvements and new methods to control costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
Reports to: Director of Transportation and Logistics (ABV)
Ensures that all Distribution activities are executed safely and in accordance with SOPs.
Serves as the company's expert on shipping and warehousing.
Accountable for the safe warehousing of material, work in process, and finished goods.
Manages the layout of the warehouse to maximize efficiency and adherence to FIFO inventory method.
Accountable for shipping goods to meet deadlines and fulfillment goals.
Accountable for each BOL and shipment from Victory and each freight invoice.
The expression and transfer of variety packs with subcontractor within Obeer.
Planning and directing continuous improvement projects at Victory.
Responsible for all finished goods inventories, ensuring weekly inventory counts are executed.
Responsible for all fork lift certifications at Victory, confirming all are up-to-date.
Coordination of Taproom deliveries as well as deliveries to Victory wholesalers with the VBC fleet.
Weekly payroll review and annual performance reviews.
Keeping the warehouse organized, clean and neat.
Movement of goods in Obeer. Transfers and Goods Issues to relieve inventory.
Manages the Victory vehicle fleet.
Carry out tasks assigned by the Director of Transportation and Logistics.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum of one year of management/supervisory experience in warehouse and shipping
Minimum of five years' experience in warehouse and shipping with clear advancement in responsibility
Experience with ERP and/or WMS with formal sales order and BOL functionality
In-depth knowledge of industry best practices for the warehousing of packaging materials, raw materials, and finished goods in a food manufacturing environment
The ability to manage a large and diverse team of people with diverse job descriptions
Exceptional communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep many complex and diverse tasks on-track
Ability to multitask
Strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
Microsoft Office familiarity, particularly with Excel and Word
Supervisory Responsibility
This position currently directly supervises distribution staff.
Physical Demands
Occasionally sit or stand for long periods of time
Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend over, twist, kneel, climb, stoop and crouch. This position requires the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 170 pounds
Use of hands to perform fine manipulation, handle or feel, and must be able to reach with hands and arms
Identify product deficiencies (color, smell, taste); this requires having close, distance, color and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
Safely and properly handle hazardous materials in various size quantities, and operate complex moving machinery
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salaried position. Days of work are typically Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
There is no expected travel for this role.
Work Environment
Production areas and office. While performing the duties of the job, the Warehouse Manager is regularly exposed to an environment with moving machinery.
