WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the VBC Team, Packaging Line Assistants are responsible for assisting with daily packaging line activities in the brewery required to meet daily production goals.

  • Maintain proficiency in packaging department, including the ability to function effectively in kegging, bottling, and canning

  • Work week is based on a 40-hour schedule. Due to production needs, incidental overtime may be required.

  • Ability to work a steady 3rd shift, 10pm-6am. The work week starts at 22:00 Sunday (3rd shift) and end at 06:00 Friday.

  • Loading of raw materials such as cans, wraps, trays, bottles, cases, carriers, crowns, partitions, and kegs.

  • Manually (palletizing) stacking filled can cases onto pallets

  • Maintaining a safe work environment

  • An emphasis placed on cleaning packaging equipment, workspace, as well as assisting in cleaning other brewery areas

  • Assist with the performance of production operations, CIP's, and sanitation practices with strict adherence to SOP's set forth in training

  • Embrace a process of and opportunities for continual improvement

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Work in a fast-paced, demanding warehouse environment, beverage production facility preferred

  • Adhere to strict corporate safety policies and procedures

  • Detail oriented and accurately follow instructions with minimal supervision

  • Perform other cleaning tasks as needed

  • Handle multiple demands and rapid change

  • Value hard work, respectful communication, and collaboration with co-workers

  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and work safely with basic hand tools

  • Good computer skills, specifically using Microsoft Outlook

  • Physical Requirements- Candidate should be able to perform repetitive physical tasks, lift at least 55 lbs. from ground level and should also be able to move 165 lbs of kegged beer from one location to another. Physically capable of standing for long periods of time and able to kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the VBC Team the Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the brewery, packaging, and restaurant equipment running at a world-class caliber. This includes preventative maintenance, daily trouble shooting, and commitment to continuous improvement of all machines and processes.

As an important part of the maintenance team, the Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician will primarily work at the Parkesburg, PA location and be able to visit the Downingtown, PA location as needed.

This role is a steady 2nd shift position, Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm with rotational on-call weekends every 8 weeks.

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams.

  • Knowledge of DC and 3 phase AC circuits.

  • Effectively diagnose control circuitry with wiring schematics and digital multi-meter to perform appropriate repairs.

  • Practiced in lock-out/tag-out programs.

  • Keep accurate and complete records of repairs and preventative maintenance tasks as completed.

  • Diagnose, repair, and overhaul process systems with conveyors, power transmission systems, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical devices.

  • Repair process pumps, automated control valves and actuators with feedback sensors and positioners.

  • Layout and install conduit and circuit.

  • Identify, propose, and discuss solutions for equipment and facility issues with management.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office and a Computerized Management Maintenance System (CMMS)

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 2 years related experience

  • High school diploma, or equivalent. Military or trade school, a plus

  • Industrial Electrical and Mechanical skills

  • Including experience with conveyors, power transmission systems, all related pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical devices used in process systems

  • Self-starter able to work with a high degree of autonomy & minimal supervision to support production priorities

  • Positive, can-do attitude and sense of urgency when performing duties

  • Familiar working in a safe manner to ensure personal safety and that of others, in accordance with OSHA and company policy

  • Working knowledge and practice of NFPA 70E

  • Available to work a rolling, on-call weekend schedule

  • At least 21 years of age

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Familiarity with brewery safety programs and priority commitment to worker safety

  • Understanding or desire to learn brewery sanitation and food safety programs

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong work ethic, high level of professionalism and able to multitask in fast paced environment

  • Physical Requirement - Candidate must be able to lift at least 31.5 lbs. from ground to 50 inches from floor and move 165 lbs. of kegged beer by sliding product. Must be prepared to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours), reach, bend and stoop and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing field marketing events and activations (brand owned and operated events, festivals, community events, mobile happy hours, etc.) through the ABV mobile marketing program across all brand families. The Field Marketing Specialist will report to the Field Marketing Manager and manage the Field Marketing Ambassadors and Part-Time Brand Ambassadors.

  • Lead event execution against the event calendar as outlined by the Field Marketing Manger

  • Manage the Field Marketing Ambassadors and part-time brand ambassadors setting their schedules, roles/responsibilities, etc.

  • Identify local opportunities, both trade and consumer, to supplement national strategies. This could include local on and off premise activation, consumer promotions/partnerships (manage with third party media companies), PR/digital.

  • Where appropriate, secure partnerships and leverage events. Identify, evaluate, and recommend local sponsorships that bring incremental distribution, retail leverage, consumer exposure, and trial

  • Working with Brand & Creative teams to create all promotional materials including POS, digital, onsite activation etc. for field execution.

  • Manage own schedules for event activation in core territory coverage

  • Curating branded consumer experience at events, driving engagement with activation tactics

  • Sampling and education: Drive trial of core brands and new innovations as outlined by event goals while educating consumers on the brands and products to create emotional connection with attendees

  • Partnering with sales and brand management teams to execute events, coordinating sample pick-up, setting up brand experience at events and clean-up post event

  • Responsible for driving mobile marketing vehicles between markets/events when part-time ambassadors are not available

  • Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of mobile marketing vehicle(s) and training new drivers on the mobile marketing vehicl

  • Managing internal or externally sourced staff to support event execution

  • Collection of photos and consumer feedback to create social content around events and continue engagement post event

  • Managing third party vendors related to event execution

  • Proactively find new event, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities

  • Own all phases of the event process from planning, ideation, executing, measurement and recapping

  • Managing and tracking event budgets

  • Data collection: event tracking against key KPIs to determine success and guide future activations

  • Operate autonomously and confidently without Field Marketing Manager (when necessary) leveraging partner relationships for on-site help, sales team support, and wholesaler involvement

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Responsible for assisting in a variety of distribution duties; including but not limited to truck driving, shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, selection of orders and proper stock rotation.

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

  • Haul products to and from the warehouse to the brewery.

  • Deliver products to Taprooms.

  • Perform inspections on equipment prior to use.

  • Selection of orders (Beer, packaging & POS items).

  • Load and unload trucks both inbound and outbound.

  • Receive product.

  • Rotate Stock.

  • Consolidate pallets of product to best utilize warehouse space.

  • Store product.

  • Assist with weekly inventory counting.

  • Inspect powered industrial equipment daily.

  • Follow proper safety procedures.

  • Perform facility maintenance and up keep.

  • Carry out tasks assigned by the warehouse manager.

    WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.

  • Ability to read a BOL.

  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment. Forklift, pallet jacks, scrubber/sweeper, etc.

  • Ability to drive a tractor trailer.

  • Good communication skills both oral and written.

  • Strong Planning and Organizational skills.

  • Previous Packaging, bottling and racking experience.

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task.

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience on a forklift.

  • Class A CDL with current physical card.

    Physical Requirements

  • Frequently stand for the duration of the shift, walk, bend over, twist, kneel, climb, stoop and crouch. This position requires the ability to routinely and repeatedly lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 170 pounds repeatedly.

  • Use their hands to perform fine manipulation, handle or feel, and must be able to reach with hands and arms.

    Work Environment

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a cool damp (32 degrees and below), airborne particles, chemicals, and moving machinery. The noise level in the work environment can be very loud.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient storage and distribution of materials, work in process, and finished goods while ensuring that sales orders are fulfilled in a safe, timely, and accurate fashion. The Warehouse Manager analyzes existing processes and proposes improvements and new methods to control costs and enhance customer satisfaction.

Reports to: Director of Transportation and Logistics (ABV)

  • Ensures that all Distribution activities are executed safely and in accordance with SOPs.

  • Serves as the company's expert on shipping and warehousing.

  • Accountable for the safe warehousing of material, work in process, and finished goods.

  • Manages the layout of the warehouse to maximize efficiency and adherence to FIFO inventory method.

  • Accountable for shipping goods to meet deadlines and fulfillment goals.

  • Accountable for each BOL and shipment from Victory and each freight invoice.

  • The expression and transfer of variety packs with subcontractor within Obeer.

  • Planning and directing continuous improvement projects at Victory.

  • Responsible for all finished goods inventories, ensuring weekly inventory counts are executed.

  • Responsible for all fork lift certifications at Victory, confirming all are up-to-date.

  • Coordination of Taproom deliveries as well as deliveries to Victory wholesalers with the VBC fleet.

  • Weekly payroll review and annual performance reviews.

  • Keeping the warehouse organized, clean and neat.

  • Movement of goods in Obeer. Transfers and Goods Issues to relieve inventory.

  • Manages the Victory vehicle fleet.

  • Carry out tasks assigned by the Director of Transportation and Logistics.

    WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of one year of management/supervisory experience in warehouse and shipping

  • Minimum of five years' experience in warehouse and shipping with clear advancement in responsibility

  • Experience with ERP and/or WMS with formal sales order and BOL functionality

  • In-depth knowledge of industry best practices for the warehousing of packaging materials, raw materials, and finished goods in a food manufacturing environment

    Physical Demands

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time, salaried position. Days of work are typically Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    Work Environment

    Production areas and office. While performing the duties of the job, the Warehouse Manager is regularly exposed to an environment with moving machinery.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The candidate's mission will be to support the sales efforts for Artisanal Brewing Ventures' brands. The Sales Analyst is responsible for the implementation of company sales initiatives and for ensuring alignment throughout the sales team, wholesaler network, and retail channels.

Reports to: Director of Sales and Retail Operations

  • Use VIP, IRI and Consumer Insights data to identify business insights.

  • Develop and implement processes to communicate, track and recap strategic sales initiatives.

  • Ensure alignment of sales initiatives and execution in coordination with sales team, wholesaler partners, and retailers.

  • Support sales team and establish relationships with Distributors and Key Retailers.

  • Work with Key Account Managers to implement strategic chain plans.

  • Take the team lead and project management duties for the brand calendar and annual sales plan.

  • Act as a conduit between sales and operations on sales order and allocation planning.

  • Work with Customer Development Representatives to manage order portal and provide accurate communication of sales support to distributors.

  • Manage Field Sales activity via Lilypad Sales Software.

  • Build and develop pricing strategy through market surveys and analysis.

  • Work alongside Sales Development Manager to support sales team requests for reports, presentations and correspondence.

  • Perform other business related duties as assigned.

    WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree, concentration in business or marketing is preferred.

  • 1-2 years in relevant position preferred.

  • Candidate must have proven computer skills and have advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft outlook.

  • A self-driven, energetic, confident personality.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times.

  • Must have the ability to have a flexible work schedule.

    Other Requirements

  • Candidate should be able and willing to lift at least 31.5 lbs. from ground level to a shelf 50 inches from the floor. The candidate should also be able to move 165 lbs. of kegged beer from one location to another by sliding it on the floor.

  • Selected candidate will be required to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background and driver's license check.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the VBC Team, Packaging Line Assistants are responsible for assisting with daily packaging line activities in the brewery required to meet daily production goals.

  • Maintain proficiency in packaging department, including the ability to function effectively in kegging, bottling, and canning

  • Work week is based on a 40-hour schedule. Due to production needs, incidental overtime may be required.

  • Availability for Third Shift, (M-F, 10pm - 6am)

  • Loading of raw materials such as cans, wraps, trays, bottles, cases, carriers, crowns, partitions, and kegs.

  • Manually (palletizing) stacking filled can cases onto pallets

  • Maintaining a safe work environment

  • An emphasis placed on cleaning packaging equipment, workspace, as well as assisting in cleaning other brewery areas

  • Assist with the performance of production operations, CIP's, and sanitation practices with strict adherence to SOP's set forth in training

  • Embrace a process of and opportunities for continual improvement

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Work in a fast-paced, demanding warehouse environment, beverage production facility preferred

  • Adhere to strict corporate safety policies and procedures

  • Detail oriented and accurately follow instructions with minimal supervision

  • Handle multiple demands and rapid change

As a member of the VBC Packaging Team, Packaging Leads are responsible for running a packaging line during a shift. They ensure the product quality and efficiency, while driving continuous improvement. Packaging Leads provide direction and leadership to the Packaging Assistants assigned to their line. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support department goals and objectives.

  • Conformance to all area LOTO and safety procedures, including wearing of PPE and reporting any safety hazards.

  • Report safety incidents immediately to the shift supervisor or designate.

  • Responsible for daily operation of packaging lines- either kegging, bottling, or canning line fillers, cleaning equipment and perform in accordance with SOPs and specifications.

  • Keeping the lines running, e.g. keeps bottle filler/labeler in production and providing direction/support for the packaging assistants assigned to the line.

  • Loading of packaging material, clearing jams, resetting faults.

  • Basic changeovers for different container size and formats

  • Perform line quality checks and escalate deviations from expected results.

  • Maintaining area GMP's.

  • Complete basic preventative maintenance (e.g. lubrication, observation, etc.) and enter corrective work order requests into eMaint(CMMS).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

At STBC, the Packaging Associate is responsible for performing daily tasks to meet packaging schedules. They are responsible for operating the packaging equipment, including, but not limited to; carton/carrier erection machines, depalletizers, drop packers (glass), case wrappers (cans), tray packers (cans), case sealers and palletizers, as well as any manual tasks necessary to the overall packaging operation.

The Packaging Associate is responsible for always maintaining a clean, safe working environment, to ensure that the beers that are packaged are of the highest quality, packaged in the best ways possible.

Reports to: Packaging Supervisor

  • Ensures that all daily packaging activities on the bottling and can lines in Lakewood are executed safely and in accordance with SOPs.

  • Operate packaging equipment (box shop, depalletizers, packers, wrappers, sealers, palletizers).

  • Perform manual packaging operations, as needed (hand packing, hand stacking).

  • Complete miscellaneous tasks and projects as directed by the Packaging Supervisor, including, but not limited to; cleaning, painting, disposing of old product, assembling packaging, taking inventory, light maintenance, etc.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 21 years of age

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Familiarity with brewery safety programs and priority commitment to worker safety

  • Understanding or desire to learn brewery sanitation and food safety programs

  • Awareness of packaging equipment operation

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong work ethic, high level of professionalism and able to multitask in fast paced environment

  • Physical Requirement - Candidate must be able to lift at least 31.5 lbs. from ground to 50 inches from floor and move 165 lbs. of kegged beer by sliding product. Must be prepared to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours), reach, bend and stoop and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Work Environment - This position is exposed to a damp, wet environment with hot liquids, airborne particles, chemicals and moving machinery. There can be loud noise levels, and protective eyewear is required on the production floor at all times.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The VBC production Brewer position with Victory Brewing Company is focused on brewhouse or cellar operations. Duties include performing daily production functions in the brewhouse, cellar, and packaging required to meet daily production goals. Brewers have the potential to rotate through these departments. The scope of job duties includes but is not limited to wort production, cellar work, filtration, CIP, and cleaning.

As a vital part of the team, Brewers at Victory Brewing Company are required to work a rotating schedule that includes 12 hour shifts with varying days on & off throughout the week.

Reports to: Brewing Supervisor

  • Maintain proficiency in at least two of the following production areas: brewhouse, cellar, and/or packaging. The ability to function effectively in all three areas is considered a plus for the employee.

  • Work week is based on a 40-hour schedule. Due to production needs, overtime may be required.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including varied shift determined by management and dictated by business/facility.

  • Load raw materials and process aids in the product at various production stages.

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a vital part of the Bold Rock team, Packaging Associates are responsible for performing daily tasks to meet packaging schedules. He/she is responsible for operating the packaging equipment, including, but not limited to; carton/carrier erection machines, depalletizers, drop packers (glass), case wrappers (cans), tray packers (cans), case sealers and palletizers, as well as any manual tasks necessary to the overall packaging operation. The Packaging Associate is responsible for always maintaining a clean, safe working environment, to ensure that the beers that are packaged are of the highest quality, packaged in the best ways possible.

Reports to: Packaging Supervisor

  • Ensures that all daily packaging activities on the bottling and can lines are executed safely and in accordance with SOPs.

  • Responsible for operating packaging equipment (box shop, depalletizers, packers, wrappers, sealers, palletizers).

  • Responsible for performing manual packaging operations, as needed (hand packing, hand stacking).

  • Performs miscellaneous tasks and projects as directed by the Packaging Supervisor, including, but not limited to; cleaning, painting, disposing of old product, assembling packaging, taking inventory, light maintenance, etc.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Familiarity with safety programs and priority commitment to worker safety

  • An understanding of brewery sanitation and food safety programs

  • An understanding of packaging equipment operation

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Works Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager performing various activities, such as inventorying, receiving, storing, stocking, and distributing a wide variety of company materials and supplies. The warehouse coordinator helps to ensure the enforcement of all warehouse procedures and best practices. Coordinates warehouse employees who perform primarily manual labor, and is sometimes required to pitch in. The Warehouse Coordinator is an operational manager, responsible for managing situations, rather than staff.

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

  • Coordinate the daily supply and flow of goods from the warehouse to keep the brewery running.

  • Verifies outgoing shipments against the BOL for accuracy to insure we are shipping the correct brand and quantity to our customers.

  • Verifies incoming shipments against the BOL for accuracy to insure we are receiving the correct product and quantity we are being billed for.

  • Coordinates dock activities both inbound and outbound.

  • Handles the paperwork portion with inbound and outbound delivers.

  • Conducts weekly inventory of on hand products.

  • Scans the signed and completed BOL into folder on the shared drive for future use.

  • As a member of the warehouse team, the Warehouse Coordinator is also responsible for assisting in keeping the warehouse organized, clean and neat.

  • Carry out tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
