The Supervisor, Account Development is part of our Inside Sales team and focuses on moving qualified leads through the sales pipeline while tracking the teams' productivity to ensure the team achieves the sales goals. This objective of this role is to expand our customer base through outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification to connect with as many leads as possible and determine if the prospects fit our customer model. This position reports to the Sr Regional Sales Manager, Inside Sales.

What you'll do here:

  • Supervise a small team of ADAs to optimize performance expectations through motivation/celebrating achievements, tracking/maximizing productivity, and coaching performance to support them in meeting or exceeding their goals.

  • Partner with Sr Regional Sales Manager to staff, train, and develop the team.

  • Perform qualification of leads assigned by the Marketing team by connecting with potential customers via phone calls, emails, and web meetings.

  • Optimize sales strategies to meet or exceeds monthly goals for lead qualification and opportunity generation.

  • Develop opportunities for eligible leads and communicates pertinent information to the Sales team.

  • Participate in future customer engagement when appropriate to support opportunity movement.

  • Build out a database of adoption cycle information in assigned school districts.

  • Partner closely with Sales Consultants to prospect and build relationships with districts leaders while expanding our contact list.

  • Assist with sales projects, campaign activities, and other responsibilities as needed.

  • Perform other duties as needed to achieve sales goals.

Skills you will need here:

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience managing a team or performing a team lead role.

  • Successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication preferred.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.

  • Excellent time management and analytical skills.

  • Excellent telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills.
