PART TIME Forklift Operator2 Days a week schedules(Tuesday and Wednesday) OR (Wednesday and Thursday)No Benefits - No OvertimeReports to: Processing SupervisorFLSA Status: Non-ExemptShift: 12 hour rotating shiftWage Class: Class VI (Night Shift - $21/hr Days - $20/hr)THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO ANY QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL REGARDLESS OF SEX, RACE, AGE, COLOR, RELIGION, NATIONAL ORIGIN, OR DISABILITY.Position Purpose:Tag and Scan finished pallets and operation of Auto palletizing equipmentESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESDedicated line pulling activities for finished goods palletized productsOperation of Auto Palletizing EquipmentResponsible for all material labeling/scanning requirements of finished goods palletsConfirm order / product completion and conditionLoading of pallets onto shuttle trucks or proper warehouse locationsSafe operation of shrink wrappersSafe and proficient fork lift operationForklift battery changing maintenanceAssist with hand palletizing as neededAssist with operations of automatic palletizers as neededProvide support and training to packaging operators to ensure pallet pattern configuration and paperwork is accurateLunch and break relief as neededReport all problems immediately to the supervisorMaintain all work areas in a clean and sanitary conditionPerforms all work in a safe, efficient and cooperative mannerPerform any other work duties as assignedEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREDModerate on the job training.
