The purpose of Caterpillar's Leadership & Technical Development Program (LTDP) is to harness your ability and energy and invest in you through training and development opportunities so that you may not only fulfill your personal career and development ambition, but provide excellent service to Caterpillar and especially, Caterpillar customers.
You will gain a wealth of experience while in the development program in roles focused on quality, manufacturing engineering, supply chain planning, logistics, operations supervision, supplier quality and more! LTDP offers you a broad exposure to Caterpillar, presents diverse project responsibilities, engages you in global teams, provides cross-functional job experiences, and includes valuable networking opportunities with all levels of Caterpillar leadership.
So, what's the program commitment then?
The LTDP is a rotational development program, consisting of three 1-year rotational assignments across the United States in different participating facilities.
Assignments are based on business needs and provide on-the-job learning with challenging deliverables.
Eagerness to jump right in and make the most of each assignment is a must!
Relocation is a requirement to join the program and required throughout the program as you maneuver in and out of different positions during the diverse rotational assignments. Locations across the United States are potential relocation options. Not all locations available are listed.
Relocation benefits are offered to those who qualify.
Upon completion of the program, LTDP graduates are placed in a role that continues to demand technical and leadership excellence gained through the program for the duration of at least 18 months. The graduate role could be any location throughout the US.
Base salary for this role ranges from $75,900* and *$113,856 . Actual salary will be based on degree, completed degree level and priorinternship experience at Caterpillar. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:

Those interested in joining the Leadership and Technical Development Program in our Supply Chain Management track must meet the following requirements for further consideration:
Supply Chain Management | Business Administration/Business Management with a minor/focus in Supply Chain, Statistics, Math or Logistics | Engineering Management | Industrial Distribution | Industrial Engineering/Technology | Logistics | Manufacturing Systems | Manufacturing Engineering/Technology
Cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0 scale (no rounding)
Graduation date between May 2023 and June 202
Willing to relocate to any location/state and travel according to business needs, upon hire and throughout the three-year program
Top Candidates will also possess:
Previous relevant work experience or internship in manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse or operations industry
Technically savvy
Leadership involvement in campus organizations, outreach, community service and/or extracurricular activities
Relevant coursework and/or projects
Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to exhibit of critical thinking, analytical skills, and initiative
Demonstrated knowledge of order to delivery, logistics, distribution, and/or supply chain principles
