SUMMARY

Candidate will have a key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the on premise Syteline v10 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Must be technically skilled, hands-on with broad knowledge of I.T. systems to be able to support database, network, hardware and desktop systems in a fast-paced manufacturing organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Builds, tests and maintains Syteline components to ensure the system is meeting business needs

  • Customizes and configures workflow to turn business ideas and concepts into high quality and result driven solutions

  • Works on complex ERP projects, develops efficient and effective processes and ensures the company's business and IT system requirements are met

  • Develops and monitors performance, integrity and security of the ERP system

  • Comfortably discusses technical subjects with leadership and non-technical end users through direct communication and close interaction to troubleshoot, modify, test, and maintain business processes, applications and systems.

  • Documents processes or set of procedures for user instructions, standard operating procedures, technical archives or audits

  • Works with the team to rapidly recover business critical information including assisting with business continuity planning and resumption of applications, data, hardware, electronic communications (such as networking) and other IT infrastructure

  • Collaborates across multiple teams and departments to implement business system improvements

  • Backup support to both network and database administrators.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • 3+ years hands-on experience with the development, implementation, training, administration and maintenance of Syteline ERP or Mongoose systems, preferably including Syteline v9.0 and v10.x.

  • Must have deep knowledge and understanding of Syteline database schema, IDO functionality, Mongoose development, report development, application event system and Syteline system operations.

  • Experience with Infor's Factory Track, CPQ Configurator, and Portal Foundation products is desired.

  • 5+ years experience with analysis and programming in VB.net, T-SQL and XML

  • 5+ years experience with relational database design, programming, and maintenance specifically in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and above, including SSDT to develop, maintain and execute SSIS solutions and SSRS reports.

  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and GitHub for custom code development and source control.

  • Detail working knowledge of ETL principles, practices and execution

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment desired

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project with in depth knowledge of Excel formulas, macros and external data sources.

  • IT Project management skills a plus.

  • Demonstrable PowerBI experience is a plus.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required, degree in Information Technology preferred.

  • Perform activities including bending, stooping, standing, walking

  • Stand and walk from two (2) to four (4) hours per day

  • Operate common office equipment, i.e. PC, phone, copier, printer, fax

  • Work in climate-controlled office environment

  • Travel infrequently by various means of transportation, including car, train, bus, plane
