The Manufacturing Production Associate - Molder provides the highest quality molds and die making according to written specifications and meeting our customer specifications. The Molder will cross train in various manufacturing areas assisting along with controlling costs, promoting process improvements, and meeting scheduling and inventory goals.
. Constructs make-ready style and engraved molds
. Preps metal to be used in making product
. Fills mold with silicone as specified on order
. Puts die/sheet mold in press
. Once cured, removes excess rubber from mold
. Removes die from mold; cuts & drills as specified
. Examines for accuracy
. Basic Mathematical Skills
. Ability to use measuring tools (Vernier calipers, scale, micrometer)
