JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring the proper balance between business needs, technology options, and user experience in order to maximize product value and increase efficiency. Acts as the ""voice"" of the customer, translating customer needs to the Agile team by properly codifying intent, sizing work efforts, prioritizing needs, and summarizing issues.
The Product Manager for Data Product Management will be a product leader tasked with developing and executing against the Capital Market Group's Data Product Strategy that would leverage and enhance our Enterprise Data Platform and subsequent products for the Global markets. Specifically, theProduct Managerwill be responsible for overseeing and enhancingData Migrations, Data Marts, Data Platform as a Service & Master Data Management for consolidatingthe data from disparate data sources into one common platform.
The Product Manager must have a passion for identifying business value, solve business problems by developing digital and technology powered products that blend seamlessly with customer's workflows and provide the right information at the right time. The individual must possess a strong knowledge of product management, data platforms, data migrations, data engineering, data marts, support processes, technical expertise, and project management experience.
The Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction via ongoing maintenance, prioritization, and on time delivery of new features. This will require you to:
Understand and articulate the product strategy and direction
Independently interact with multiple customers & stakeholders to develop a product roadmap
Develop and prioritize a product backlog, including tradeoffs to ensure delivery
Work closely with engineers to ensure high-quality and on-time solutions are delivered
Participate in global platform discussions
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works closely with designers, engineers, and business professionals in a collaborative environment to create strategic, product roadmaps.
Draws upon customer insights to drive the software product vision and direction; Provides leadership in identifying and defining ongoing product features that align with business strategy.
Defines software solutions that CBRE's technical teams can deliver. Represents the customer to the technical teams, answering questions about client expectations.
Uses technical and product expertise to prioritize deliverables and manage backlog of requests. Owns the product backlog.
Facilitates discussions, user story development and refinement, and testing and validation; contributes to roadblocks resolution and decision making.
Provides regular updates; manages executive stakeholder communication and reporting.
Acts as a single point of contact for ongoing support and services. Prioritizes needs, engages various technical teams, as needed, routes requests to correct owners, and ensures support is provided to internal or external satisfaction.
Actively engages in Agile process, including daily scrum sessions, demos, and testing activities, as well as training and change management activities, as needed.
Manages changes to features and communication to ensure there is clear indication of what is required for each release
Assists the team in sizing and breaking down Epic into a manageable size to accommodate the release cadence. Writes user stories and cases, as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of
7+ years of related experience
5+ years' experience in product management, program management and technology
Experience defining a product roadmap, vision and strategy
Define KPI's to measure product success
Experience with backlog creation, management and trade-off decisions
Technical competency - able to understand and participate in engineering decisions
Experience with end-to-end product/application delivery
Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies
experience working in Data Management, Data Migrations, Data Marts, Data Platforms & Master Data Management
- Experience working with UX Designers
Ability to present highly technical products to customers, including senior management
Ability to cover gaps that may exist within the team to get the product shipped
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in SQL
Experience with Data Governance, Data Quality Management, or data analysis
Commercial Real Estate experience
Experience at a multi-national organization and working cross functionally
Ability to cover gaps that may exist within the team to get the product shipped
