Job Description:
Caterpillar is creating a new team within our Construction Industries Services Division (CISD)! We're hiring multiple Marketing Consultants to serve in the development of commercial strategies, channel activation recommendations and support material development for strategic advantage for Condition-Monitoring insights.
JOB DUTIES:
As a Marketing Consultant , you will be in a specific customer segment (Retail, Core, Managed Accounts)/customer labor profile area (Do-it-myself, Work-for me, work-with me) for Condition Monitoring solutions. Expertise may be in a customer segment and/or in a commercial channel activation support for service or parts solutions. You'll demonstrate creativity, foresight, business judgement and outstanding machine application or marketing/distribution knowledge along with the sensitivity to customer financial impact.
Develop applications experience, life cycle cost knowledge of dealers' and customers' application, industry and marketplace need
Provide support in areas covering new product introduction (NPI), market, and distribution needs to stimulate breakthrough solutions that would help in market leadership
Providerequirementsfor newCondition Monitoring leadscommercialization and share this expertise with business unit management
Communicate effectively across product, industry, dealer and/or customer audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of ideas and recommendations
B asic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree
5+ years' experience in content marketing, product marketing, digital channel activation, CX/UX, sales training
Desired Skills /Experience:
Industry knowledge and excellent communication skills
Ability to persuade others on new methods of equipment application, new technology and distribution methods
Prior field rep or marketing rep experience
Additional Details:
Locations: Peoria, IL or Dallas, TX
Travel: up to 15%
Geographic Responsibility: Part of a global team, but will have regional responsibility
Primary Interface: Divisional Mgrs., Dealer VPs, & Customers/Corp. Accounts
