Serco is seeking a Network Engineer to join the team! Telework eligible! Your communications engineering expertise is needed to solve technical and policy challenges facing tactical radio communications systems for the Army's current and future forces. You will be a key member in a team of 200 to 350 engineers, specialists, logisticians, and trainers to provide services to Project Manager Tactical Radio (PM TR), Readiness Management Division (RMD), and the constituent Product Offices with Material Fielding, Integrated Product Support, Platform Integration, New Equipment Training and Field Support services. Serco will support the US Army Program Executive Office: Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) and the global warfighter C5ISR support plan.
In this role, you will:
Provide communications engineering expertise to PEO C3T in pursuit of technical and policy solutions to tactical enterprise and local area C5ISR challenges facing the Army's current and future forces
Provide analysis and assessments and test evaluation of potential high payoff communications capabilities in support of the PEO C3T global warfighter C5ISR support plan
Perform trade-off studies for system level design and material acquisition of tactical communication systems implement and test such methodologies and devices
Provide technical guidance and information to meet requirements
Assure non-functioning network components are repaired/replaced in a timely manner through maintenance contracts

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
An active Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a related scientific or technical discipline
Five (5) years of relevant experience with tactical radio communications systems to include the following; SINCGARS Radio Set to include legacy ASIP Radio Sets, AN/PRC-148(V)2 and (V)4s, AN/PRC-152s, High Frequency (HF) Radios Sets to include the AN/PRC-150 and AN/PRC-160, Legacy SATCOM Radios such as the AN/PSC-5C and the AN/PRC-117F/G, software defined radios such as the AN/PRC-154A/C, AN/PRC-155, AN/PRC-148C, AN/PRC-163, AN/PRC-158, and AN/PRC-162 and Tactical Networking Radios such as the AN/PRC-166, AN/PRC-168
Four (4) relevant years of experience working with the planning of tactical communications waveforms such as SINCGARS, Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW), and Tactical Scalable Mannet (TSM), and network planning software such as the Harris CPA, JENM, ACES, RAP-TR, Black Sails and ATOM
Technical expertise in the areas of communications network engineering, satellite communications, architecture, analysis, development, and network operations support. Position should be an SME with regard to next generation technology insertion strategies and integration planning of future C5ISR capabilities
