Video Production & Traffic Specialist
Description
The Video Production Specialist must be a multifaceted communications professional that can create content for a variety of platforms. Must have a strong command videography, graphic/digital/visual design and sound engineering. Must have strong command of communications and brand strategy, project management, storyboarding, video production and editing, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to proactively identify compelling communications campaigns and to work collaboratively in a team environment required.
Job Responsibilities
Functional Expertise:
-Video production & editing
-Responsible for the on-time and on-budget design of marketing materials to support business objectives, including print, online and traditional media
-Sound engineering/podcasting
-Advanced knowledge of the field's concepts, best practices and procedures
-Advanced knowledge of communications campaigns to driving brand initiatives
-Monitors use of corporate and partnership brands and marks and enforces adherence to brand standards
Business Acumen:
-Ability to translate a strategy into an effective creative solution
-Provides thought leadership and consultation in aligning creative deliverables with business goals
-Collaborates with team members and other departments to interpret business needs into creative execution
Engagement:
-Work closely with a variety of vendors and internal teams to ensure adherence to specification guidelines and tight deadlines
-Ability to respond quickly to requests while maintaining high standards for deliverables
-Participates in planning/strategy meetings
Driving Results:
-Achieves metrics as defined using industry tools and tactics
-Leads and participates with multiple cross-functional external and internal groups to develop compelling creative work that differentiates the brand and aids in driving key initiatives 1
-Connects design strategy to top line growth and improving customer loyalty and engagement
-Ensure materials are on budget, on time and produced correctly
Qualifications
Education, Certifications/Licenses:
Required: BA/BFA degree or related area
Related Work Experience:
Required: minimum of 5 years of multimedia experience on either the agency or corporate environment. Experience with a variety of collateral in print and digital.
Applicant may possess a combination of equivalent education and work experience.
Specific Skills & Knowledge:
Required:
-Strong project management skills
-Strong understanding of brand management
-Moderate level skills utilizing Adobe Creative Suite
-Videography and video editing skills
-Strong attention to detail - ability to proofread own work to ensure quality control
-Proven history of thoughtful and innovative design solutions using a variety of mediums and a wide range of concepts
-Ability to design on a PC or Mac platform
-Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
