Job Description

This position's primary responsibility is to handle SEWP bid submissions and proposal responses for sales teams, perform quality control on sales processes, and ensure compliance with corporate and contract vehicle rules and policies with a focus on Federal support renewals. Working closely with Sales, Contracts, and Legal, the position contributes to the development and implementation of organizational policies, internal trainings, and best practices. This position provides proposal support and assists with other partner related activities. Role is closely supervised and works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Review, create, and manage final proposals and submit formal and budgetary bids for sales team.

  • Review, process, and submit customer orders for internal processing.

  • Investigate and resolve issues with customer orders.

  • Monitor and enforce established contract vehicle rules and discount programs, document and report any issues.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures by the sales team

  • Provide assistance to sales team to close large key account sales opportunities, including pricing strategy, deal structure, and terms & conditions.

  • Act as a SEWP liaison and SME for transactional renewals between end user, Emergent and Mythics sales.

  • Manage relationships with current partner network and customer accounts.

  • Participate in sales trainings around process and compliance topics, contributing to the preparation of content and delivery.

  • Coordinate communication, proposal preparation, and/or order processing between Sales and other support teams, such as Contracts, Legal and Accounting.

  • Identify opportunities to improve internal tools and processes, increasing overall organization efficiency and sales automation.

  • Maintain current knowledge of contract vehicle rules and regulations, industry trends and best practices.

  • Complete special projects, as assigned.

Other Duties

  • Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 1 - 2 years' experience in contracts or sales operations.

  • Experience working in a technology sales environment around SEWP and CIOCS procurement processes.
