We are currently seeking a talented Financial Application Support Specialist to assist in the troubleshooting and support of our financial software applications. This candidate will communicate and recommend complex business processes and procedures and relevant information to resolve internal customer issues.
Responsibilities include:
Provide 1st line support to field personnel in the troubleshooting and resolution of a variety of financial applications.
Prepare user guides for applications
Building and maintaining SQL queries for data analysis and data extract. SSIS package experience a plus
Analyzing business processes and performing in-depth work analyses
Special projects as assigned
Ideal Candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field. (Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline)
2+ years technical/application support or related software customer service
2+ years database development experience.
An interest in and ability to understand financial reporting, accounting concepts and related accounting data. (Accounting experience a plus)
Experience developing/troubleshooting solutions using MS SQL Server, VBA.
Advanced skills in MS Excel and related accounting business systems
Experience with Crystal Reports, MS Access, Dot Net a plus.
An ability to articulate technical topics to a non-technical audience
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
