Purpose of Job
Manages a team of maintenance technicians within an area, ensuring the installation, repair and upkeep operations of our company's facilities. Duties will include maintaining machinery and sites through both reactive and preventative actions, as well as planning repair activities and supporting the development of maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations for a remote based field technician team utilizing maintenance management platform
Minimizes downtime due to equipment failure or site issues
Ensures team completes all repairs in a timely way
Ensures parts program is executed as designed and parts available for timely repairs
Audits tech vehicles for proper stock and upkeep
Track expenses and ensure budget targets are met
Identify and execute capital improvements to sites and equipment
Maintain sites and machinery to function as designed
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems
Plan and manage all repair and installation activities
Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures
Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates
Document and prepare progress reports for performance vs budget and productivity of maintenance tech team
