We are seeking a senior financial analyst to join our FP&A team. This role reports to the Director of FP&A and is responsible for performing financial modeling, performance and variance analysis, budget and forecast preparation and review, and presenting timely and accurate information and recommendations to management and stakeholders. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain financial models for capital allocation, investment return analysis, and budget/variance analysis
Create performance reports, including business insights, ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to executive management
Provide KPI reporting for management and senior management
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for monthly, quarterly and annual reviews
Proactively identify possible scenarios, risks and opportunities around business performance
Implement best practices and process improvements
Translate business strategies, initiatives and projects effectively into financial modeling
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Similar, required
3+ years' experience with full-cycle FP&A function
Financial modeling experience required
Ability to perform scenario analysis, and present resulting recommendations to senior management
Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to those outside of Finance & Accounting
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Ability to operate independently and comfortable with ambiguity
Industry experience in multi-family real estate or asset management is a plus
