Job Summary:

In this role as a System Integration Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible to deliver a consistent customer experience in the application of critical safety features with electrification technology. As a member of the Engineering team, you will need to have a growth mindset, promote continuous improvement, and help build a defect-free culture. What you will do:

  • Design and promote new products

  • Contribute to establishing the product line strategy for the product group

  • Define the program, product configuration, and modularity strategy

  • Develop and manage the project/program to the plan

  • Evaluate new products and competitive products, perform product maintenance

  • Remain up-to-date on new technologies or develop new technologies

  • Communicate technology to customers, team members, suppliers and other units

  • Support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, customers, suppliers, and other process partners

  • Mentor, coach and develop others

  • Represent the company externally

  • Specify the safety and regulatory requirements on battery electric machines

  • Ensure products are designed to meet industry safety expectation and all regulatory requirements specified

What you will have:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering degree

  • 10+ years of engineering experience.

  • 2+ years in a leadership role either leading people or projects

Top Candidates will also have:

  • Excellent analytical skills, an extensive understanding of complex engineering concepts and applications, and developed an area of expertise in multiple systems design and/or development associated with the product.

  • Strong technical leadership skills who has the ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well employees in other units, customers and suppliers.

The primary location for this position is Tucson, AZ

The secondary location for this position is Peoria, IL
