Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Senior Contracts Manager for immediate employment. In this role, you will support the due diligence for projects involving the Federal Government /JV's/Teaming arrangements. In addition, other business-related support required by the program/project management team.
This position can be based in, but not limited to: Honolulu, HI; San Diego, CA.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Due diligence in support of projects with Federal Government Clients/JV's/Teaming arrangements, cost proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contracts policy compliance, project audits, project government property management and any other business-related support required by the program/project management on multiple stands alone and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contracts, each containing both cost plus and FFP pricing arrangements
This individual will also serve as the primary project interface with the Federal Government Client's Contracting Official where so designated
Must ensure adherence to the firm's signature authority policy and facilitate approval of necessary and appropriate deviations
Coordinate with Corporate Auditing and support periodic internal project audits, outside project audits by clients, and federal and state agency audits
Respond to project/federal government client directives and requests involving financial information, contract compliance, subcontracting/procurement, cost proposals, project audit, project accounting, insurance, property, export control, international workflow, and other administrative issues
In conjunction with the Project Manager, develop the negotiating strategy and plan/lead, where appropriate, conduct contract negotiations with the Federal Government Client
Conducts strategic pricing planning and participate in technical proposal preparation in compliance with Federal Regulations and company policies and procedures
Oversees the administration of all elements of contractual terms and conditions from proposal stage through contract close-out and audit.
Directly and through subordinates, assists all departments in developing contracts within company policies.
Examines estimates and delivery schedules.
Prepares bids, process specifications, test and progress reports and other exhibits that may be required.
Negotiates complex contracts on large projects, customers or bidders.
Manages a team of contract administrators.
Serves as group/department or technical lead.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS + 10 years of federal contract management experience, including 2 years of leadership expereience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required in order to work on federal projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Access, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Strong written and oral communications skills
Experience building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $115,000.00 - $135,000.00.
