Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA. Responsibilities You will utilize a mastery of budget execution principles and concepts to oversee reimbursable budgetary operations. You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution. You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommends alternatives for corrective action. You will ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports. You will assign work to subordinates based on employee?s capabilities, priorities and difficulty and develop performance standards and evaluates employee performance. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector possessing a mastery knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing. I also have at least one year of financial management analyst experience performing leadership functions such as assigning and reviewing work of subordinates and providing training as needed. Examples of specialized experience include the following: 1. Possess a mastery of budget execution principles, concepts, methods, practices, and techniques used in the collection, classification, evaluation and presentation of management and reimbursable operational data; 2. Utilize an extensive knowledge of financial management principles, practices and techniques; 3. Address management issues and programs as they relate to resolving accounting, execution, and audit problems/issues in planning, evaluation, control, and resources allocation; 4. Ability to plan, organize and direct team/taskforce efforts across organizational lines utilizing administrative and interpersonal skills.
