Summary
This position is the entry level position for individuals responsible for the placement of all the large mechanical components of a Generator. A PowerGen Tech 1 will be responsible for mounting Genset on its skid using correct hardware and meeting torque requirements, mounting all stands to skid (ECC, GBC, SCR, disconnect) and setting said components in place also connecting exhaust parts and installing using correct hardware, gaskets and meeting all torque requirements. This position will also be responsible for making load cables using correct gauge cable, lug and proper crimp, making CAN harnesses, fuel line and block heater hose.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalency preferred; however, a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of.
Attention to detail.
Proficient with hand tools.
Able to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
Successfully complete the on boarding training program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be able to measure to 1/16th of an inch.
Must understand torque values and how they correspond to components.
Must be able to identify the correct size/ thread of hardware for given task.
Must be able to identify different gauges of wire.
Must be able to use hand tools, air tools, and to set a torque wrench.
Essential Functions
The main function of this role is the assembly of the enclosure and all mechanical components and Final Assembly operations including electrical, fuel system and Def system Additional responsibilities and objectives will be added as needed based on business and area of needs.
Physical Demands
This position will require standing, stooping, bending, and limited lifting of up to 50lbs.
Work Environment
General manufacturing environment which may include non-conditioned and conditioned workspace.
