Reporting to the U.S. Vinyl & Metal Division Controller, this position is responsible for the financial management and controlling functions of our vinyl manufacturing extrusion plant located in West Salem, OH. This is a key plant management position and will work closely with our plant manager and plant staff/associates. The position, located in West Salem OH, is very hands-on as it will be on-site finance representative for the facility. Responsibilities will focus on standard costs, month-end financial close, KPI reporting, forecasting, budgeting, ad-hoc financial analysis, and internal controls. * Complete ownership of plant standard costs including creation, periodic maintenance, and cost/margin analysis [including independent evaluation of standard cost accuracy] * Month-end close activities, journal entries, reporting, variance analysis, reconciliations * Weekly/daily measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs) * Work with plant management and supply chain planners to maintain rolling weekly forecast * Coordinate and prepare annual budget * Maintain the plant's internal controls programs primarily around inventory [cycle counts, periodic physical inventories] and fixed assets [tagging, periodic physical inventories] * Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis support to the division controller, plant manager and Extrusions VP * Responsible for accurate & timely recording of all costs in the general ledger * Be a key member of the plant management team through on-site collaboration with a continuous improvement mindset * Analyze, (and assist in preparing as needed) plant capital investment requests * Responsible for integrity of plant cost allocation methodology between product categories to ensure costs are accurately reported _KEY RELATIONSHIPS: _ * U.S. Vinyl & Metal Division Controller * Plant Manager * Plant Leadership Team _EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: _ - Bachelor's degree in accounting - Minimum of 5 years progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment - Previous plant controller experience preferred but not required - Experience with Oracle Financial and legacy (i.e. non-ERP) systems a plus All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
