CTG is seeking to fill aTechnical Helpdesk & Network Remote Support Agent IIopening for our client in Montgomery, AL.

Location: Montgomery, AL

Duration: Temp to Perm

Overview:

Provide technical and solutions support for new and existing customers as well as provide remote network and software technical support relating to all connected products.

• Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers.

• Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.

• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

• Moderate decision-making authority guided by policies, procedures, and business operations protocol.

Duties:

• Installation of connected MFPs on the network.

• Installation of scanning options, configuration, and training.

• Installation of printer drivers on the Print Server and/or workstations.

• Installation of administrative software tools, configuration, and training.

• Participate in the Site Survey policy for the designated area.

• Deliver technical services based on a Statement of Work (SOW) that captures specific customer requirements, professional services, and technical specifications.

• Provide post-sales technical support for existing customers.

• Provide billable network services when customer agreement does not cover such services.

• Utilize the remote support tools including Log Me In.

• Escalate technical issues to the appropriate technical personnel and supervisors.

• Interface with Sales, Solutions, and Service teams.

• Required to lift up to 50lbs and assist truck driver moving equipment.

• Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Valid driver's license and minimal level of auto insurance coverage required.

• Preferably three to five years field or corporate experience specifically relating to technical support or networking, network printing and scanning.

• Specific knowledge of network printing and scanning applications including color printing,

scanning and storage.

• An in-depth knowledge of the most widely used network and workstation operating systems, including networking interface standards. This includes the Microsoft platform and MAC.

• Ability to communicate technical information effectively in verbal and written formats.

• Exceptional customer relation skills.

• Knowledge of LAN and WAN architectures.

• Knowledge and expertise of data base and data communications software helpful but not

required.

Education:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent a minimum

• Associates Degree preferred A+, Network+ recommended

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
