Fix Auto is looking for candidates who are interested in an Auto Detailing career! Auto Detailers ensure that all customer vehicles are serviced properly, company procedures and policies are followed and every customer is treated with the utmost courtesy at all times. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure each vehicle is returned to near factory look & feel in a fast-paced retail environment.
Wash the exterior and interior of a vehicle according to the customer's wishes
Shampoo & vacuum interior (seats, rugs, trunk, roof)
Wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines
Vacuum to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, use air tools and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains
Apply dyes & waxes to protect the leather or fabric of vehicles
Motivated, energetic, and customer-focused
Outgoing and positive attitude
Ability to work as a team with other detailers
Pass a pre-employment background check
Basic computer skills. Ability to use a keyboard and a mouse to correctly collect and enter information into a point of sale system.
Exceptional customer service skills
Must have reliable transportation
Previous experience in automotive detailing is not required
Physical Requirements
Physical duties include:
Standing for extended hours, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.
While on the job, employees must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, etc for extended periods of time
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Requires use of hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
