Summary You will serve as a Materials Handler Supervisor in the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Supply Support Department, Physical Distribution Division of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND. Responsibilities You will plan, direct, and control the work of subordinate employees performing receipt, storage, transshipment, packing, preservation and transportation operations in warehouses, explosives bunkers and two hazardous material storage facilities. You will establishes work schedules, processes, deadlines and performance metrics. You will coordinates with customers and suppliers to ensure a smooth flow of work and effective mission performance. You will resolve material problems or make issues of special commodities. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
