The Associate Manager will play a critical role in executing local marketing strategies to drive annual sales goals. This position requires a blend of cross-functional collaboration and hands-on execution. Responsible for implementing the marketing initiatives for restaurant remodels and grand openings and provide support services to the Company Restaurant Marketing team and Field Operations partners.
This position sits in our Atlanta Support Center, with the expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Remodel and Grand Opening Support:
Attend weekly or bi-weekly Development calls
Update remodel and grand opening tracker based on weekly SIP/RIP reports
Host pre-construction Marketing plan call with DM & RVP for each location
Order all Marketing materials pre, during and re-opening
Schedule post opening social media, postcard and B2B efforts according to revitalization playbook
Track analytics on post opening efforts
Collaborate with brand Field Marketing Managers and other ICR Marketing Managers on revitalization best practices and update playbook accordingly
Communication:
Draft clear, concise store level marketing communications restaurants based on direction provided by the team.
Respond to field operations and solicitation phone calls and emails.
Act as liaison between field operators and brand marketing teams
Provide system feedback associated with market activity, e.g. promotions, tests, sales, menu, pricing, etc.
Ensure local and national programs are supported and executed through on time and accurate communication.
Program Execution:
Ensure restaurants receive promotional support to align with local marketing plans.
Submit register programming requests within required time and facilitate periodic register key clean-up.
Assist with schematic development for each window with merchandise & Marketing ensuring all program and merchandising details are accurate.
Track window deliverables ensuring on-time delivery, keeping key stakeholders aware of status/opportunities/roadblocks.
Maintain accurate restaurant profiles in portal for accurate POP ordering.
Provide real time local market intelligence and system feedback associated with all market activity, e.g. promotions, tests, sales, menu, pricing, results, etc.
Coordinate and communicate in-market product and promotion tests.
Budget Tracking:
Process and keep track of marketing expenditures and invoices.
Coordinate and manage Outdoor contracts and invoicing.
Training and Support:
Provide marketing support and training to field operators leaders that are new in position.
Conduct marketing training classes as needed.
Participate in Operations meeting/activity to educate, inform and build relationships.
Assist Manager and Director with any special projects or analytics.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Required:4-year degree in marketing / advertising
Preferred: 3-5 years of relevant experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
