Position Description
Serco has an available position for a Cybersecurity Engineer in Huntsville, AL. This role involves providing cybersecurity services to multiple DoD customers.
The primary responsibilities include supporting the development of cybersecurity requirements for IT systems, weapon systems, and vessels, as well as serving as a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Responsibilities include:
Evaluating networks, IT components, and weapon systems for compliance with published DoD guidance.
Performing vulnerability and STIG compliance scans, including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Security Center & Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) Compliance Checker (SCC).
Interfacing with information system security officers and managers, which includes reviewing documentation such as Systems Security Plans (SSPs), risk assessment reports, authorization packages, and Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms).
Tracing and managing the relationship between various requirements and specifications throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Developing Technical Specification Sheets that detail various acquisition requirements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
10 years of experience in Cyber Security or Equivalent
An active DoD Secret Clearance
A Bachelor's degree
A 8570 IAT Level II certification or greater (e.g., CompTIA Sec+, CISSP, etc.)
Knoledge of NIST SP 800-53 RMF controls and eMASS
Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Up too 10% Travel
