As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for the overall performance and continuity of the warehouse office to include order management, order creation and return documentation, clerical/administrative support for customer accounts and acting as a liaison between customers and associates as instructed. As well as receive raw materials into inventory system, ensuring accuracy of data and communicating to appropriate parties needs and issues. Duties: * 1st shift - 5:00am start * $19.30/hr.* * Ensure materials that are physically counted on dock match packing list and purchase order data. If discrepancies arise question dock personnel or purchasing. * Receive items into AIMS through use of manual input. * Organize and distribute receipt labels upon receiving new materials. * Communicate PO needs/issues to Corporate Purchasing on daily basis. * Manually issue out materials from AIMS for individuals without a scan gun or other special occasions. * Answer calls from production departments regarding inventory levels and delivery times. * Complete packing slips for outbound rack/scrap loads for vinyl, aluminum, cardboard and paper; also transfer orders to receiving plants. * Validate scrap vinyl, and aluminum log sheets against database reports for accuracy. * Assist floor personnel with checking inbound materials and inventory discrepancies. * Process transfer orders in AIMS for material transferred to other receiving plants and correcting material discrepancies. * Coordinate rush shipments * Coordinates with production lines on rush shipments products and their completion * Prepares rush items for shipment * Completes bills of ladings and packing lists * Determines what carrier to use based on delivery requirements * Coordinates with carrier for pick & delivery * Documents the shipment information * Use, understand, and thoroughly read a tape measure * Ability to operate office equipment and computer experience * Accurate completion of paperwork with neatness and timeliness * Ability to read and understand English, and can identify items on paperwork including, but not limited to customer orders, bills of lading, manifests, packing lists, stock receipts, freight bills, and customer labels. * Communicates verbally, in writing, and telephone etiquette, with supervisors, associate, truck drivers, customers and forklift operators. * Performs all other duties assigned * Update production WIP sheets * Material Reject Logging * Computer errors; scanners, downloads Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED. * 2-4 year(s) experience preferred with knowledge of warehouse/inventory procedures and practices. * Experience in Microsoft Office Suite. * Manufacturing Software knowledge preferred.
