Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Technician C you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Space Division while working closely with the engineering team. Additionally, this role will be responsible for performing electrical test of CCA's and system level units.
Essential Functions:
Perform Acceptance tests on various products.
Understand and follow appropriate test equipment / safety procedures.
Maintain product configuration information in appropriate documents.
Support the troubleshooting and rework/repair systems and/or their subassemblies.
Maintain troubleshooting documentation in appropriate process / product documents.
Support completion of assembly operations to meet delivery expectations.
Identify ways to improve current production processes and communicate ideas with appropriate personnel.
Maintain status of units being processed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
2 years or more experience in technical knowledge and skills in troubleshooting down to the component level is desired; solid understanding and working knowledge of test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, thermal chambers, etc.
2 years or more experience in basic computer skills including familiarity with Excel.
2 years or more experience in strong written and interpersonal skills, such as communicating well with customers, management, as well as other disciplines in the organization.
2 years or more experience in strong planning/organizational skills with ability to prioritize work assignments.
2 years or more experience in working individually and in a diverse and team-oriented environment.
Must be a United States Citizen.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Analog and digital troubleshooting skills.
Experience with environmental testing.
