The Indirect Loan Processor reports to the Indirect Lending Manager and is responsible for the loan processing duties of the Indirect Lending Program.
Responsible and Accountable for:
Handles all loanpackages that are received from dealers and prepares them for funding.
Reviews loanpackages for accuracy and completeness, focusing on error-correction
Maintains ledgers,order supplies and acts as liaison between dealerships, Credit Officers,and Dealer Managers.
Purges disbursedloan packages of duplicate forms and unnecessary items before imaging.
Monitor workflows within the department to ensure that all deadlines are met, and resources are utilized effectively.
Set-up new dealer relationship and create new dealer/vendor records.
Administers dealerstatements and dealer reserve program.
Assist in handling escalated dealers/member inquiries and concerns in a timely professional manner.
Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:
Ability to identify and provide input for areas needing process improvement.
Ability to adapt positively to the changing needs of the role and/or department.
Ability to prepare indirect totals for monthly reports using lending system.
Ability to correspond with dealerships on missing documents necessary for disbursal of funds.
Ability to work closely with Indirect Manager to relay decision on active applications and help to obtain information needed on pending applications.
Ability to identify areas of efficiency and implement resolutions.
Excellent written and communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, Excel, the lending platform, and the core operating system.
Ability to comply with all state and federal regulations.
Education andExperience:
Education: Associate'sDegree or equivalent.
Experience: 1-3years experience as Loan Processor or equivalent position.
