The MEG Compass Cadet Internship Program provides an employment opportunity to college-level students that is mutually beneficial to them and MEG. The MEG Intern experience provides undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about the business world, our industry, and specifically our company while they participate in meaningful, productive work that advances our business. Internship candidates will have the opportunity to develop their skills in business by actively completing real-life projects, participating in developmental and skill-based trainings, and engaging in coaching and mentorship opportunities. Throughout the program interns will work together to create a final project based on their experience at MEG and will present in front of all of their peers. This year we are accepting summer internship applications for opportunities in our corporate headquarters in the Virginia Beach area and remote candidates for certain assignments. The areas of interests include: Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Legal, Contracts and Proposals, Accounting, and IT Consulting. This year's internship begins June 6th and will end July 29th for all students.
Minimum Requirements:
You must be available to work MEG's business hours during the program dates from June 6th - July 29th.
You must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college program and have completed at least 2 semesters of undergraduate studies at the start of the internship.
Additional Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Basic proficiency using MS Office Suite skills, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
