As a Lean Black Belt within the Earthmoving division, you will lead projects with an average savings of $60,000+ and concurrently lead 8-10 projects of this magnitude. This is a great opportunity to identify opportunities and define the financials and justify the projects to leadership. In this position you will manage the development and maintenance of methods and systems for measuring the degree to which the project goals, objectives and metrics are met.
Specifically, as the Lean Black Belt, you can expect to:
Identify integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinate the improvements with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish the project goals
Recruit and train team members
Identify potential Black Belts and recruit team members in the 6 Sigma infrastructure
Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects and business strategy
Ensure multi-channel communication throughout the organization
Capture project case histories that can be re-used for other projects
To be successful in this role, you must bring (Basic Qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Accounting or Business
7+ years of professional level experience
Top candidates will also bring:
Experience with Paving Products
Proven strong sense of urgency to complete tasks on time to meet goals or deadlines
Demonstrated focus on quality and customer needs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify solutions
Good office desktop applications knowledge
Ability to learn and do statistical analysis
Project Management Experience
Training or certification for 6 Sigma Black Belt

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Hybrid work environment (2-3 days onsite)
0-10% of travel is expected
ISE assignment is not available for this position
