Are you ready to contribute your technical knowledge and writing skills to a fast-paced environment with high visibility work requiring a qualified, stable, and experienced staff? Our customer is tasked with developing, testing, procuring, fielding, and maintaining the FLRAA Weapon System with First Unit Equipped (FUE) scheduled for 2030. Serco will provide Engineering, Logistics, and Acquisition and Strategic Planning Services to support the Future of Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Project Management (PM) Office. The primary place of performance is Redstone Arsenal, Alabama or authorized virtual work location. You will be joining a team of 25-40 full-time, highly experienced, and qualified acquisition, logistics and engineering professionals led and managed by Mr. Dave Schairbaum, who previously led the Air Force Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) development program as Program Director.

Qualifications

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible to review existing program documentation to prepare, document, update, and maintain presentation materials

  • Participate in IPTs and participate in the planning and execution of product related events, reviews, and documentation

  • Provide input, recommendations, and preparation in draft format of comprehensive plans and documents IAW FAR, DFARS, and Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS)

  • Provide acquisition related support to include supporting preparation and review of program documents required for solicitations and other contract documents; preparing supporting documentation, such as Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Technical Data Packages, Production Plans, System Improvement Plans, and Transition Plans

  • Develop, draft, provide, and update documentation for acquisition programs to include all documentation required for program milestone events (MDD, MS-A, MS-B, MS-C, TC/FMR, FRP, etc.).

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Communications, Business Administration or related field

  • Eight (8) years of experience supporting federal programs (preferably for the DOD)

  • Demonstrated technical writing experience for DOD programs, preferably Army or aviation related

  • Ability to maintain/transfer a Secret clearance

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to an average of 25%

  • Ability and willingness to support full-time on-govt site support

  • Ability and willingness to support full-time, regular-recurring, and/or situational Telecommuting
