Title:
Senior General and Operations Manager
Acts as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for multiple programs, projects and pursuits including but not limited to a Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS) Contract. Serves as the primary interface and Point of Contact (POC) with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues. Oversees Contractor execution of the Contract requirements and manages acquisition and employment of program/project resources. Pursue new business opportunities to grow engineering and technical services business.
Education: MS or MA degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Engineering Management, Physics, or Computer Science.
Experience: Of the 10 years' experience required at least six (6) years of professional experience in Defense acquisition, and three (3) years of experience in support of Navy Acquisition management. Has experience with shipboard and shore electronic systems; hardware and software; configuration control; test and evaluation; systems integration; and systems supportability. Has experience in initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives directly related to aircraft systems; hardware and software; configuration control; test and evaluation; systems integration; and systems supportability. Has knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures; demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DoD 5000 series; demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams; and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management.
