Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst. This position can be filled at any Aerojet Rocketdyne location and flexwork or remote locations may be possible in some cases. In this role, the selected individual will provide application support of manufacturing execution system(s) (MES). This person will provide technical expertise, training and solutions on Oracle ERP and Aerojet Rocketdyne business processes utilizing Oracle modules and processes and Dassault Delmia suite applications.

Essential Functions

Provide functional/technical expertise on Oracle ERP and AR business processes utilizing Oracle Modules and processes (Quality, Procurement, iSupplier, Mobile Supply Chain Application, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Inventory, Bill of Materials, and Work in Process)
Provide technical solutions and support for the interactions between Dassault Delmia Suite applications - Digital Operations/Velocity and Digital Manufacturing and Oracle ERP
Utilize working knowledge of Oracle Database Structures, Record definition, and SQL Command Language to facilitate research or reporting of MES Data, as required by special projects, interfaces, evaluation, etc.
Work with a team to develop plans to migrate business systems from Oracle to SAP or vice versa
Develop and provide training

Facilitate/ participate with Full System Functional Verification in support of System Upgrades and or the Upgrade of associated (Linked) environments i.e. Oracle EBS

Capture Requirements and Definition in support of Proposed System Enhancements, Reports, Interfaces, etc.
Continual modification and improvement of operations business systems - ERP, MES and others
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering/Computer Science or similar, and six (6) plus years of experience with application support of manufacturing execution system(s) (MES) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Plus the following:
Knowledge of Oracle database structures, record definition, and SQL command language to facilitate research or reporting of manufacturing execution system(s) data
Ability to provide application support of manufacturing execution system(s) (MES)
Knowledge of typical shop floor processes which support Engineers, Quality Inspectors, Machine Operators, Assembly Technicians, Operators, etc
Understanding of shop floor management, to include work in process, shop order sheduling, configuration control, quality management, non-conformance process, shop floor documentation management and material flow/inventory management
Ability to work with IT and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
Ability to develop and provide training
Knowledge of continuous improvement
Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non technical professionals at all levels from executive suite to manufacturing floor, to include speaking to groups and creating and delivering compelling presentations.
Ability to interpret and validate data

Knowledge of statistical process control
Knowledge of/ability with web programming basics
Communication protocols to machines
Documentation and command media development, maintenance and training skills/experience
Ability to train/mentor less experienced analysts and technical professionals
Ability to foster and maintain solid working relationships with professionals in multiple disciplines contacted in the course of work
Troubleshooting skills
Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Pay range for this position:
83,000 - 123,000 per year
