We are seeking a Supervisor, Scheduling and Material Planning to join the team at our Culpeper, VA location.
Reporting directly to the Director, Scheduling & Material Planning, this position will require Manager to lead and develop Scheduling and Material Planning Team Members. In addition, will support and/or lead initiatives at the Site and Organizational level as appropriate and required. Material Planning Team is responsible for supply and demand analysis and applicable execution based on those results. Team also supports operational activities by ensuring all applicable materials and work orders are readily available per the production schedule. Production Scheduling Team is responsible for managing the production schedule both in the MRP system and at the operational level. Team is responsible for ensuring alignment between the MRP plan and the Operations build plan. Both Teams are heavy users of the Oracle MRP system, requiring the Manager to have a strong conceptual understanding of MRP concepts and methodologies. In addition, strong understanding of basic scheduling methodologies are a must. Manager will ensure accurate and timely execution of the MRP and Production plan by their Teams. This position would be for 1st shift. 7:00 am to 5:00 pm 9/80 schedule.
