Join Serco as a Fleet Mechanic in Danville, IN! Starting hourly rate from $26-$30 based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule is flexible Monday through Friday. Overtime eligible, but not required. In this role, you will:
Operate automotive, construction and material handling equipment.
Operate and repair hydraulic systems
Perform engine, electrical and drivability diagnostics/repair.
Perform DOT and manufacturer recommended servicing and inspections
Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
At least 3 years of related experience.
High school diploma or its equivalent.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Customer focused, strong work ethic and positive.
Be a safety oriented individual.
Drive/take home a service truck.
CDL B license is required but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for it will be provided.
Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.
