In this Medical Logistics Analyst, role, you will:
Prepare/provide functional area briefings, analysis, correspondence, reports, research, recommendations, inputs, and other documents and coordination in support of the Medical Logistics division of the Command Surgeon, utilizing applicable applications to include management of pre-positioned WRM and operational assets, equipment, supplies, and capabilities.
Assist with accomplishing all necessary internal operations to include administrative training, security, development and implementation of organizational operating instructions and regulations related to SG and WRM programs.
Assist with equipment acquisition and transfer which may include AF Form 601s review and transfers, gains, and losses of equipment.
Prepare applicable out-shipment transportation documentation, package cargo/items if possible, and coordinate pickup and delivery of cargo/items to Traffic Management Office (TMO) bound for CONUS and OCONUS customers.
Perform medical stock number research action, inspections tasks found in IAW AFMAN 41-209.
Advise formal course stakeholders on standardized training requirements from the field for incorporation into course requirements/objectives.
Additional roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
May participate in staff assistance and readiness/ mentorship visits to determine the effectiveness of training programs and to provide suggestions/guidance on how to improve status.
Serve as Point of Contact for War Reserve Materiel SME regarding the basic functions of the program.
Advise/inform on professional development and relevant functional area issues to include MEFPAK, utcs, miscaps, CONOPS, ttps, and Assemblage updates, programs, and activities
Develop, monitor, and maintain AFCENT pre-positioned War Reserve Materiel & Operational asset management program IAW associated playbooks.
Assists with development/coordination/communication of the support and management of prepositioned War Reserve Materiel in the USCENTCOM AOR and with employment/operations for utcs tasked.
Provide a monthly War Reserve Materiel status report that highlights readiness rating and limfacs IAW local procedures to the AFCENT SG.
Collect, maintain, and analyze after action reports, inspections, and Joint Lessons Learned System (JLLS) documentation for UTC revisions.
Assist with medical readiness capability-based planning related to the AFCENT/SG medical and AE mission.
Assist new personnel with initial WRM training/orientation requirements
Assist AFCENT units with the logistics requirements for medical and AE Patient Movement Assist AFCENT expeditionary medical treatment facilities, units, and gained units in problem resolution related to functional area tasks.
Attend/participate in technical meetings both locally, and/or at other worldwide locations.
Contractor shall create routine software files (i.e., Word documents, Excel, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) As required for normal accomplishments of the day-to-day duties within this PWS.
Qualifications
To be successful in this Medical Logistics Analyst role, you will have:
Active Secret Security Clearance
Associate degree
Three years' experience with Mission Capability Statements, Concepts of Employment, and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for AFCENT Medical UTCs, Mission Capability (MISCAP) for proposed UTCs tasked
Five (5) years' experience in last ten (10) years with logistical operations utilizing War Reserve Materiel.
Must be able to obtain passport for OCONUS travel.
Two years' experience with Defense Medical Logistics Support System.
One year experience with managing shipment of hazardous materials
Ability to travel = 25%
