In this role, you will serve as an Electric Power Sales Manager to ensure Caterpillar achieves sales, market share, services growth, price realization, variance management, customer satisfaction, distribution management, develop Reps, and dealer infrastructure development for long term success of Electric Power.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Lead the Latin American region Large Electric Power Solutions (LEPS) Sales and Services team. Reporting to this position are account-based reps: Territory Managers, Account Managers, Aftermarket Solutions Rep, Systems Territory Specialists and Energy Systems Engineer supporting our key stakeholders of dealers, contractors/consultants, and customers in the major segments of Data Centers, Healthcare, Major Infrastructure projects, etc.
This role is accountable for the business plan growing diesel and gas generators sets for prime and standby applications along with balance of plant including switchgear, automatic transfer switches, emissions solutions, hybrid and enclosures.
Lead an integrated equipment services and sales approach targeting Customer Value Agreements (CVA) at New Delivery. Also accountable for the aftermarket services business plan with parts sales (sales to users), CVAs, connected assets, population accuracy and prioritized services events.
Exhibit high customer focus working with large accounts (regional data centers, large contractors, etc.) with key account discussions while establishing global dealer and internal alignment.
Support Leadership Table Process and Services Growth Plans with key Electric Power Dealers to achieve Prime and Aftermarket business cases in Eastern Region.
Support a CRM environment where salesforce is used with reps to track opportunities, accounts, and drive accountability within the Eastern Region Team that supports meeting business plan.
Drive an engaged and diverse culture along with focus on compliance and safety.
The individual should possess knowledge of industry, dealer, and customer. The incumbent will need to use creativity, foresight, and business judgment. The individual will leverage multiple distribution options to stimulate breakthrough solutions to create market leadership.
Leadership skills and the ability to sell ideas are essential. Must communicate effectively across product, industry, dealer and customer audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of ideas and recommendations. Must have ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally. Good human relations skills are required to develop a collaborative relationship with others inside and outside the business unit.
Requires 50+% travel to work with dealers and customers.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a college degree
10+ years of specific industry experience in order to gain recognition as an expert
Previous leadership experience.
Should have broad business background, industry expertise, and/or factory knowledge and the incumbent will have had previous marketing, distribution, product support, aftermarket services, sales through dealers, and/or direct sales experience.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
In addition to English, needs to be proficient in Spanish and/or Portuguese
Previous supervisory experience
Experience with aftermarket services or experience with an integrated equipment and services approach.
Deep understanding of industry and customer strategy/how customers make money
Driving clarity and creating high confidence plans to deliver the results while owning the outcome
