This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Senior Training Representative to support a Government security organization, whose mission is to protect our nation's critical assets through enterprise risk management, continuous innovation, and excellence in mission performance and customer service! The Senior Training Representative will be a part of a team that designs and develops eLearning training content for technical systems to aid end users in navigating new system functionality/features. This position will support content creation for multiple learning modalities (instructor-led, webinars, video, etc), but will be primarily focused on online content creation. This position will also include a hybrid work schedule, including telework!

What you will do

  • Utilize Articulate Storyline 360 authoring tool to create engaging eLearning courses/activities and compelling course content

  • Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience's training needs as input into instructional design

  • Create, manage, and deliver engaging training across multiple mediums and multiple learning styles

  • Utilize technical and creative writing skills to engage course participants

  • Write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts

  • Maintain an accurate, current learning and development dashboard (via government provided platforms) and provide reports and updates on eLearning activities to the government lead

  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product

  • Integrate adult learning best practices and thought leadership into eLearning course material

  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process

  • Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course

  • Plan and execute eLearning projects/production of course material to meet set timelines for completion

  • Address changes and feedback to course deliverables in a timely manner

  • Maintain project documentation and course folders

  • Additional duties as assigned or required

What we are looking for

  • 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience

  • IAT Level 2 (or higher) compliance/certification required (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, and/or SSCP)

  • Formal training in training, instructional design, learning technologies, or related field

  • Experience developing training that blends a variety of training methods and are Section 508 compliant

  • Experience with eLearning platforms (i.e., Learning Management Systems, Adobe Captivate, Lectora)

  • Experience with process management for the training development lifecycle, from initial design through delivery and implementation (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) model)

  • Graphic design experience with the following Adobe products: Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop

  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD)

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance

Bonus points for...

  • 5+ years of training design experience creating blended learning solutions both instructor-led and self-paced training

  • 5+ years of experience with instructional design

  • Experience in audio/narration editing

Physical Requirements

May require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders, standing for extended periods and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
